Learn how to view and control contributors' permissions, send project links, and add new contributors with different access levels

How to Add Contributors to a Project in Deal Builder

  1. Accessing Projects Tab
    • Navigate to the Projects tab in the header from the home screen.
  2. Adding Buyers
    • Select the specific deal/project.
    • Add a buyer by clicking on the three dots in the buyers table and selecting "Add Buyer."
    • Type in the necessary information and generate a unique link for the buyer to access the SIEM directly without signing the NDA.
  3. Managing Contributors
    • Click on the manage contributors icon on the left-hand side.
    • View current contributors and add new ones by typing in their email.
    • Choose default permissions (viewer, writer, etc.).
    • Control what emails they receive and select the landing screen they arrive on.
    • Customize permissions further by selecting specific access levels for different sections.
  4. Customizing Permissions
    • Use the custom permissions option to tailor what contributors can see and access within the app.
    • Modify settings to give view, read-only, or write access to different stages or sections.
    • Enable or disable access to specific information based on your preferences.
  5. Inviting Clients to Onboarding Portal
    • Share the onboarding portal with clients by hitting the share button.
    • Select existing contributors or add new ones by entering their email and name.
    • Choose which sections they can access and control their ability to publish the project.
    • Manage email preferences and rules for the client.
    • Share a unique link with the client to access the portal and complete the SIEM online.
