Fully Automate the process of responding to BizBuySell.com and BusinessesForSale.com inquiries

When you have a few listings being promoted on sites such as BizBuySell and BusinessesForSale, being able to respond to interested buyers who submit an inquiry can be done quite quickly and efficiently, especially if you use email templates and the DealBuilder blind profile link to help you with NDA management as shown in this helpful post.

If you have more than a few listings, or if your listing is generating a very high volume of inquiries, you could be spending hours manually replying to each inquiry, even if the email uses a suggested template with the corresponding DealBuilder blind profile link to your listing.

Fortunately, the team at DealBuilder has come up with a new automation that handles all inquiries for you!

Steps

To ensure the automation works, you simply complete the following 2 steps:

1. Set-up leads@dealbuilder.co as the auto-forwarding address
2. Add the DealBuilder Reference ID to all your listings on BusinessesForSale and BizBuySell.

To find the DealBuilder Reference ID of each listing, you can pull it from under My Projects where you will see it displayed on each listing in the bottom right-hand corner.

You must take the DealBuilder Reference ID of each DealBuilder project, and include this ID in your BusinessesForSale and BizBuySell Listing.

For this to function properly all listings in BFS and BizBuySell need to be linked to their respective DealBuilder projects

For step #1 - it requires the following:

1. Add leads@dealbuilder.co as a forwarding address.
   For brokers this will require us to approve a request email sent to the leads account (please allow 1-2 business days for us to approve)
   ‍
2. Add a filter to forward all BizBuySell emails
   1. From address: interest@bizbuysell.com‍
   2. Has the words: Your Business-for-sale listing‍
   3. Forward to: leads@dealbuilder.co
      ‍
3. Add a filter to forward all BusinessesForSale emails
   1. From address: info@businessesforsale.com‍
   2. Has the words: is interested in your listing‍
   3. Forward to: leads@dealbuilder.co

What the Buyer Sees

After you've followed the above steps, any buyer that submits an inquiry to any of your listings on BizBuySell or BusinessesForSale, will then get an email that looks like this:

The automation the DealBuilder team has built will send the buyer this email and the link directs them to the specific blind profile of the deal they submitted an inquiry for.

Note: You and will be CC'd on these automated emails to the seller.
