Uploading a PDF Presentation in DealBuilder

This short video shows you how to upload an existing PDF presentation into DealBuilder while still utilizing the digital CIM functionality for buyer tracking, digital NDAs, and digital data room features.

How to Upload a PDF Presentation in DealBuilder

Key Steps

  1. Start a new project by clicking on the "Start" button.
  2. Select "Upload PDF Presentation" from the options provided.
  3. Enter the necessary business information (e.g., business operating name, industry code).
  4. Click on "Upload Files" and select the PDF presentation to upload.
  5. Proceed to the next step.
  6. Optionally, add financial files as attachments.
  7. Create the project and navigate to the public listing page.
  8. Fill out the business details and financial information in the respective sections.
  9. Preview the uploaded PDF presentation under the presentation component.
  10. Number the pages of the presentation for buyer tracking.
  11. Ensure financials are added in the financial section for accurate reflection.
  12. Publish the listing by clicking on the paper icon and following the prompts.
  13. Share the generated link with clients for access.

Note

  • Financial files do not automatically import into DealBuilder and need to be added as attachments.
  • Ensure all required business and financial information is accurately entered before publishing the listing.

  • Number pages of the PDF presentation for easy tracking.
  • Complete all necessary steps in one go to avoid interruptions during the uploading process.
